which way do i turn the drain plug.. ive read posts of people needing a helio coil..but i dont wanna have that problem...


im laying on the right side(brake side)... ratchet is facing me... do i push towards the rear tire or up to the front? (not sure which way left is )

Off is counterclockwise.

Looking at the plug from the bottom, turn it counter-clockwise.

Top of the wrench goes to the left. Should push toward the rear tire.

Don't forget to make sure the o-ring from the filter isn't stuck to the engine. If it is you will have a bigger mess unless you remove it.

My Nissan alone takes 7.5 qts with a filter. I just did the FJR last night before I tucked it away.

No kidding What I need to do is get 'em all on different oil change schedules. Seems they're all due NOW...must learn to stagger the work LOL

well its easier to remember if you have them all at the same time! its like have 3 kids... youll never forget to feed only 2 right
