So far so good. The Vet thinks the strike on her left shoulder must have been from a juvenile as they don't or can't spew their venom as well as an adult can. The two holes are about a half inch apart. She has a bad limp and is very lethargic and doesn't want to be touched anywhere. The Vet gave her a shot and I'm giving her meds daily. Lucky she's still alive. Found her at the front door and when she came in she limped a few feet and laid over. She's an indoor cat now! I've seen coyotes and Coons and rabbits in my new neighborhood just a few miles from Yosemite NP but of course, haven't (seen) any rattlers. All she does so far is sleep and eat, mostly, sleeps. Hope she gets better soon but it will take awhile. Wish there was more I can do for her. It's my fault for letting her out to explore her new neighborhood. Lady Luck has certainly not been on my side lately....
