Motor Problem

I was on the Freeway and my bike back-fired and next thing i knew I was on the side of the Free-way wouldn't start back up just back fired. What could be the problem?

How many miles, The only thing I could think off is timing chain may have slipped....I'm probaby wrong but ya never know.

with your discription did you fill the tank up before leaving?
