Moose Racing Grip Warmers

So I picked up some grip warmers based off a recommendation on another forum.

The rocker switch that it comes with requires that I drill a 13/16" hole somewhere to mount the switch.

Opinions on whether I should drill or whether I should somehow create a way to mount it on the bars?

The rocker switch has no housing... it's simply a switch with three connectors in the back. It's round, and has two little pieces of plastic on each side that will lock it in place if I drill.

I have a Gen2, in case it's relevant.

You will be fine drilling and mounting the switch on the inner fairing. That's the black textured plastic on either side of the gas tank. Obviously, take it off the bike before you drill because there is important stuff just below that panel. Fuses are under the left panel, so that may be the best place to go.

So I shouldn't just drill into the bike without checking what's under it? Like that guy that drilled into his ECU? :p

Thanks.

Haha, yeah, don't be "that guy"

I know that's an obvious thing to tell someone, but stuff happens...
