Have to clean the carbs out and have no idea what a carb even looks like.

This is gonna be great!!!

make sure you take it completely apart to cinch the deal....

Just google up the brand of the carb... plenty so schematics on the things.. if you are unable to "sync" them yourself, you might be ahead to employ the services of someone with some experience.. You could take them off and on, let them do the work and then let them do the sync after you put them back on the bike..
