I like my alpinestar leathers have had them several years.

I would have 2 go look @ size but I got the largest ones I could find off the rack.Im @ max size any bigger need custom made those start @ around $1000

I cant gain weight or its going cost me

It's hard to find anything bigger than 13's.. I went with these "Stealth" boots and they are very comfortable as well, and they have my size !!! http://www.shoes.com/product.asp?p=1007513&variant_id=29742

Is the buckle the only fastener holding the boot on? In an accident, could the buckle catch on the pavement, open, and the boot come off?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but where can I find boots in wide width, like EEE. I wish I had skinny feet but I don't and putting a EEE in a D boot puts my foot to sleep.

Those Alpinestar's are sweet.

I have a birthday this weekend I guess it's time to start dropping hints. I'll just print a half dozen pictures of them and leave them in strategic locations around the house. On the fridge, on the mirror in all the bathrooms, over the sink and stove, next to the phone and on the dash of her car.

Those boots don't look like they offer as much protection as a taller boot. Personally I prefer a boot that goes farther up my shin, like sidi vertebras
