I would buy a trailer, I`ve seen bike moving around quiet a bit on that thing. I wouldn`t trust it.

weight of the busa plus rack itself and we`re talking 600+LB ClassIII hitch up to 500 LB

YA, i think it would be plenty

......... if you look close @ the hitch area, it has some pretty beefy tubing, this is whats going to support the weight..... i think it looks week at 1st glance because all you see is the cheesy 1" stock for the tie down straps.

i think id still rather have a trailer, the bikes to naked back there and might get popped by road debrie

i bought one of these 2 years ago (they are cheaper now if that means anything ) i used it once with my wifes 900rr on it for about 1000 miles 500 each way on a round trip . It worked but the bike did seem to be moving around a bit on there . I had a knot in my chest the whole trip and never used it after that .. I lent it out and never got it back and really never missed it ....I would pass and go with a trailor I saw a great looking used one in the for sale section last week pretty cheap !!

Yes, I do have one. I'm not sure if I'd put my busa on it. My gixxer weighs a lot less.

The one pictured in the ebay ad belonged to a member here, RocketmanOKC. I've seen it at the track in use. It works but I would prefer a small trailer myself. Make sure you have a Class IV hitch. A class III is not rated high enough.

If you look at the carrier, it looks like a bit "T" It is actually a 2 pc. construction that only bolts together. (They did this so it could fit in 1 box)
I brought it into work and mig welded right up. So I feel a lot better when i use it, but I still find myself sh!tting a brick when I hit heavy bumps.

I think it would be great for a dirt bike but no way would i put a busa on it .....Still it's a cool idea for a lighter bike ..
