An e-mail from Indianapolis Motor Speedway states that they will make an announcement on July 16 which will make motorsports history. Presumably this means that on that day they will announce the date of their 2008 USGP MotoGP event.

Yeah, the announcement will be: "F1 will NOT  be coming back, and MotoGp will IF they figure out how to put up solf walls on their straight"

. I for one (if I was a rider) would be real concern about that last turn onto the straight. They should be doing in excess of 150 mph coming on the straight and an accident (remember there is very little angle on the track) could be death dealing
