Idle Issue

My bike's idle seems to run in the 750-800 RPM range. When coming to a stop or slowing from a pretty quick pace, the bike will just die. It fires right back up, it just seems to me that my idle may be too low. It doesn't happen all the time. If I'm coming to a stop and I give it a little gas after pulling in the clutch, the idle settles just fine.

What is normal idle? Do I need to raise mine, or do I have another issue that I need to check out?

Thanks for any help.

I believe the idle should be set at 1150 RPM factory. I keep mine around 1200-1300 RPM.

hey bro!

I'll will put it @ 1500 rpm it's safe if your bike is dying all the time went you get to a stop you may have a air issue if not, just need to up your RPM that's it, how along since you service your bike you know spark plus, oil etc.

God bless!

Yep, just raise the idle and you will be good. :beerchug:

I run mine at 1500.
The oil pressure is twice as much as at 1100. JMO
