What are them small holes above each exhaust port. I think there is a steel plate that goes across it where Them bolts come out the head. I just replaced the head on my Gen 1 and the one I got didn’t have them plates On there?!?!?!?! I’m

Thats for the pair valve assembly. If you have removed the pair valve, then you need some block off plates.

Take the plates off the old head and bolt them on the new one.

I can’t do that til Tuesday i brought the old head to the shop and they’re closed til Tuesday now. Am I able to ride it or do I have to wait?

tap them for a M6 and put a set screw in them

Lightest way is have machine shop tig the Hole shut
Dollup of Aluminum is lighter than a TI screw
My Big valve head it was done when they did the work

Just retrieve old covers and put them on. If the head was off I'd tap it and put a plug in.
