lost my clutch slave once and had to do about 35 miles home, but I just kept taking rights and we barely have stop signs let alone traffic control signals

Glad you made it home. If you think about it, that could have had a tragic outcome if you're at 11K rpm and decide to let off the gas and expect a clutch to be there!

At least you guys didn't venture into Indiana where you're likely to be shot...damn highway snipers.
