Gravel, Gravel.....Soybeans.!!

Now out here in Farm country, 99 percent of the street corners are covered with
gravel and dangerous. So me and the wife are coming back from Wally-Mart (Shes on her Deuce) and we come into one of the turns we usually make and we both hit the brakes ASAP when we saw the surprise waiting for us.
Here instead of gravel, the entire corner was covered 1-3 inches deep with soybeans.
We carefully and slowly made our way through the beans without a mishap.
I thought I'd seen just about everything, but there's ALWAYS a new twist..!!
I guess this falls under the other 1 percent.!!

We live in rural country, and gravel is everywhere. Sometimes I wonder if it's not intentional considering that my road is on almost every bikers "must do" list in the area.

Happy you both caught it in time and came out all right. Never know what's going to be in the road from one minute to the next. I see it all the time on the road to my work. You can go in and it's all clean, come back through 10 minutes later and it's all covered in gravel.

I've heard of people doing that in the Poconos, in PA (the gravel in corners).
