Gravel and sand alert for southern riders

Just wanted to make everyone aware, especially southern riders like myself, that with all of the winter weather moving through lately we need to keep an eye out for sand/gravel on and near bridges. Most of the bridges I went over yesterday still had sand on them from Thursdays ice storm. This is not something we're used to here in the south so I thought I'd bring it up as something to be aware of when riding.
