Well, finally got the nuts to carve out the rear hump so i could have the grab handle on at the same time. Took about 1 hour to do it, Wasnt to bad. just nervous as heck. while I was at it went ahead and installed the trickle charger. Not really any great mods but I'am starting to get the fever....

Same here, IMHO...never liked the grab bar on the bike...only when the Mrs. rides with.

And heavy, did those grab bars come with the Batman action figure?

I don't see how hard it is to swap 4 bolts. I mean, you have to swap the hump anyway for the seat. What next,... cutting the hump to mount the seat into?

I don't think its a matter of whether or not we like it, give him some credit for getting it done.

I don't like it either, but I'll give him credit for doing his own mod.

Thank for all the commments, this place is starting to feel like home for this newbie.

I figure people want comments when they post a mod and i tell them mine.

Welcome to the board Burnschevy, and definitly hide your credit card.

Looks good!

While you still have the tools ready, you should try the 'Shovel Mod'.

I love that mod. Great job.

For some of us it isn't necessarily about the look - it's so much easier to put the bike up on the rear stand with the grab rail on. To each his own.
