Got My Hands Under Rubb's Skirt...

... or his turbo's bodywork anyway. :D

He had been having issues with his gear position sensor crapping out, limiting his boost at playtime. The boost controller uses the signal from the gear position sensor to dole out proper amounts of GO! depending on what gear he's in, not having that reference resulted in the bike limping around with only 300hp or so. First world problems.

Got to see my first lock-up clutch assembly in person as it came apart to reach the gear position sensor. Very cool guts in there! Here are some pics I took for Rubb during disassembly.

Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly. ;)

Job done, Rubb took the bike out for a test ride and came back all . He's back in business! :super:

Thanks again Dave. The problem with small town living....finding someone who will work on a non-stock bike. Nobody in this town will touch my bike because it is too custom and it is turbo'd. Dave took on the challenge and did a flawless job.
Now I'm back in the saddle with proper boost.:race:

Rubb.
