Front End Lift

Can anyone help me out on a good way to lift the front end up while replacing the fork seals. I may be able to borrow a friends lift but if not i dont know what to do.

Had my bike on the rear stand then used the scissor jack from a car,flat piece of wood under the header not touching the fairing, worked.

Had my bike on the rear stand then used the scissor jack from a car,flat piece of wood under the header not touching the fairing, worked.

I did the same but I also strapped my bike to my work stand using my Canyon dancer. Paranoid I guess. Here is a pic right before I strapped her down.
