Does a gen 2 rear seat fit a gen 1?

Just like the title says, the gen 1 owner I came across is looking for a rear seat and I was wondering if a gen 2 rear seat fits it....I'd give him mine if it does.

I’ve found from experience, and it’s a very dumbed down theory, there’s a strong chance of mechanical parts swapping, and a much lower chance of cosmetic parts swapping.

That's what I figured...

At least I put the owner onto a set of Helibars and drop pegs.......and this forum but he said he doesn't have time for forums..

He said he saw my bike go by a few times and thought it was a really good looking bike and was really happy when I stopped in.

He also has a BMW RT1200 and a custom HD...not sure what it is though...
