Not saying she’s wearing a pair, but there are legging type riding pants for women made out of kevlar and the typical protective materials that even has provisions for armor as well.

Squid is more of a mentality to me, it’s ultimate recklessness and disregard while riding with risks way too high for both the level of protection one has as well as to their skill level, or situation/scenario in which it takes place.
