CRAPPY SIDE REFLECTORS

what is the deal with the side reflectors. im trying to remove them, but it seems the more i turn the screws the tighter it gets. lefty loosy righty tighty

did they put loc-tight on these bad boys or what?

A real pain..the 10 mm nut spins in the tail and you really can't get to it without taking the tail off..

I just carefully pry down on them while spinning the screw with a angle cordless screwdriver..they strip real easy so be carefull..and then just smack the undertail and the nuts will fall out toward the front..

Hope the helps..and I hate reflectors on any Bike!!!

Rear reflectors are definitely a pain! I wound up removing the tail section to get mine off.

Hmmm. Mine were real easy to get off. After the screws were loose, I just pulled down on the heads with my fingers while turning the screws. Came right out.

I ended up taking the tail off. Much easier, and a lot less frustration.

I removed mine also....good for atleast 2-3 more hp. And the weight difference was outta this world!!!!J/K couldn't help myself.
Looks alot better thats for sure.
