I do run VNC, however I like to be able to glance over and see what is going on at that moment with several servers at once. By running a tail on the log files I can see what is going on. Besides its a great way to talk my woman into 12 or 14 inch flat screens........

The house is wired in CAT 5 but the switches do have fiber capabilities on them.
