Clutch Problems on 03 Busa

I have three problems with my clutch.

1. I'm losing fluid with no visable signs of leakage.

2. What fluid is left is black.

3. Now clutch is has bad operation.


After researching previous posts I see that I might have a problem with the slave cylinder? Does that sound right? Could anyone post pictures on how I can fix this myself? I would really appreciate it.

sorry no pics. but i can tell you for sure its the clutch slave cylinder ! should be just forward of the shifter under the plastics .

I see the bolts to take out. If I take off those bolts will it just slide out? Then just reconnect hose, fill with DOT4 and bleed. Am I on the right track?

You will need to take off the whole sprocket cover to get the slave cyl. off. No problem, 4 bolts or so then 2 that hold on the slave. Break loose the banjo bolt first though. pull the pushrod off and clean and grease before putting back on. Not a problem at all. PM me if you need any help or call me 978-979-9859

Thanks a lot! I'm going to give it a try in a few days. Right now I'm going to add fluid and run the hell out of it for the next two days.
