Chrome hayabusa grips

Does anyone have chrome Hayabusa grips?

I purchased a pair of chrome GSXR grips... sweet as sweet can be (if sweet could be an sweeter than it already is). Anyway, when I went to install them, I noticed that they wouldn't get past the small lip on the end of the Busa plastic grip. I had a spare plastic hanging around, so I tried it and it broke the lip off clean but still fit perfectly.

I was wondering if the Hayabusa chrome grips were the same. If you have a set please let me know.

The instructions for my grips from Apachee told me to cut the lip off with a razor blade. Once I did they fit perfect.

Hahahaha... I have the Apache grips and I have the same instructions sitting right here on my desk. I just opened them for the first time and you are right!

Did you also buy the Apache barends?
