Changing out exhaust on an 01!

So i bought an 03 stock full system to replace my 01 right side can. But now i like the look of the chrome midpipes on the 03, and want to swap out the ugly black mids i have for the sleek and sexy chrome ones. Is this a do-able swap for a do-it-your-selfer.
From a quick glance only, it looks as the if the two systems are a little different down on the underside of the bike.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Dude, give BF a call on Monday and ask the parts guys.. or check on ron ayres.com - they have the fiche (part number might be different though) so prolly ask the BF boys, they should be able to tell you. btw, you been riding yet? i got out last week and it felt good!! :-)
