Just wanted to get some feedback on maybe running a 120/60/17 up front on the busa. Do they turn in better? Is grip compromised? Any feedback would be great.

I haven't used one, but I would think they would turn in slower

I run the 60 up front with BT 014. I don't feel any compromise in handling or grip. Also, used the 60 series on my TLR. Again, no noticiable shortcomings.

thanks soon2be, Has anyone else had any experience or know anything about running a 120/60/17 up front. I have used the 180/55/17 on the rear and handling is greg.

Some drag racers run a 60 series up front for a lower ride height and more clearance when running a derake triple tree and/or turbo.

I use them all the time lowers front about a 1/2" and turn in is good as center of gravity is pushed forward a little good combo to me..

I think it comes down to preference. The only thing i don't like about the 60 sidewall is the gap with a stock fender.

If you want the front end lower as for drag racing, go with the 60 profile.

If you want the bike to fall over easier and have more grip at high lean angles as for canyons/trackdays, go with 70 profile.
