The clay work was a ***** and a half. But the end shape came out great thanks to Patrick swayze's spirit guiding my hands.

I think most of us are intrigued by your skills, and we're waiting for your vision to unfold. So far, looks good to me.

Any reason why you didn't use the Busa's "hump" for the tail section (or at least for the starting point)? Just curious.

Ah. Awesome question. I actually used it as a visual model for building this one. The only problem with using the actuall piece itself is that it was a bit too large and not quite the shape I wanted. But not a bad idea.

Best use for a blown up ninja 250 engine? Guitar pedalboard. Ill try and get it finished up tomorrow or sometime this week. Shouldn't interfere with the cafe racer too much.

Damn. I'm building a KZ650 cafe right now, but when I had my busa naked, I started thinking about ideas of a cafe'd busa lol! Could look sweet. Kinda like a B-King meets 60s Euro bikes.

Have you thought about building a Spondon like frame for it? Different swingarm ? That would be sweet in a true cafe racer deal - most are more like bobbers.

Objective isn't to get too over the top. Im liking the idea of rock sold reliability. Complete custom bikes no matter how well put together, generally aren't. Plus I've got more in my plate right now the i can handle at the moment. 3 jobs, side projects, just got back from Iraq, and getting married in 2 days. My ass is busy. Not a bad idea though.
