Busa engine in a Kingquad

Hey Fellas. I'm the FNG here. I don't have a busa but I'm interested in putting a busa motor in my 07 Kingquad. Does anybody have any info on this? I have tried to find busa crate motors but I can't find them. I would keep my 700cc in there but there really isn't any performance parts out there for it. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

welcome.... no crate motors I have seen, but have seen a number of 0 mile bikes less motor/electronics for sale here.. (you need the electronic engine controls as well) perhaps a used bike would be the best bet?

Thanks for the input. Does anybody know how difficult it would be. Could I use the same transmission in my kingquad or would I need to use one out of a Busa? My other question is if it would be easier to use a motor out of a GSXR 1000 or 750? Any input will help.

Go with the Busa motor, it is bullet proof, use the Busa tranny, PM Goldenchild, he will hook ya up!

If your 4x4 and looking to stay that way theres no bike motor you can use.

Its real hard inless you know how to build bikes. It requires lots of alighning and special made parts. If you think youre going to just weld some brackets on and bolt the engine in you got another thing coming. You can have it done for like 3k from a company i know of. Thats just basic wiring and mounting of the engine. You cant use a atv trans on a street bike engine either.

OK. Well it was worth a shot. If you guys say it can't be done then it can't be done. So do any of you guys have any ideas to add some power to my Kingquad? How hard would it be to fab up a turbo to my ATV?

willing to bet you will need a heavy duty output shaft.

Anything can be done I got a sandrail in my shop now doing a conversion so it can be done on a atv...
