brocks alien head, with engine noise

I just installed a full brocks alien head exhuast system on my 2004 busa. I noticed two things: 1. the pipe headers with the bracket did not rest against the manifold like the stock ones did, is that normal? They dont move and the bolts seem to keep the pipes tight. 2. and now that everything is installed I notice a ticking noise coming out of the front, it is more noticable when giving throttle and the clutch is released allowing the bike to drive. I was curious if anyone else who installed the same exhaust noticed the same thing. I placed my hand and a piece of paper by the headers to see and feel if I have an exhuast leak, but i didnt feel anything. thanks for your help. Phil

You need to replace the header gaskets when replacing the header. The old ones may seat, eventually...but the ticking is enough to drive you nuts~!~

Sometimes the old gaskets stick to the old header and unless you think about it, they do not get placed on with the new header, check that also
