Brake pad install

Think of it this way;
Piston - Shim - Pad -Spring <span style='color:red'>or</span> Piston - Shim - Spring - Pad (top area of spring points inward,,or outward)
(After viewing the caliper thoroughly I really don't think it matters what side of the pad the spring is on as long as it holds tight the shim to the pad)
**The spring retains or holds the pad together to the shim**
Mirror image on the reverse side.
Once in place - slide pins into place (holes last) with the guide holes facing downward so they can accept the
Last - Retaining clip.

I dont think the retainer clip edges need to go in the holes.
I thought same thing first . It is merely impossible to get them align to get the hole in .
I just attached them like Khatan did. It works fine .

I m running to another problem now. Bleeding the rear line , I'm leaking foTHat rear master cylinder is a pain to ge too. I think its a bad design.

They are correct.
Just looks like you are missing the retainer that holds the exterior pad .
Yes . I managed to fill up the oil in the master cyclinder but I can't figure out why I m leaking when I press the brake pedalAre you trying to perform this task with the tail plastic ON???

took out the plastic screw. Used a long funnel , a long screw driver . taped the plastic to avoid oil contact .how the heck you filling the rear master cylinder with the tail section onYes . I just looked like a pain taking the whole thing out.

You right ,Taking the rear cowl off takes less than five minutes, really.
With it off you don't take the risk of getting any brake fluid on your paint.
But, we all make our own choices.
I just realized I didnt need to take the plastic ribbets to take the rear cowl off
it was late and dark . I just wanted to get it done.
becareful... lot of bad things can happen when its late and dark and you wanna get her dun...You right ,Taking the rear cowl off takes less than five minutes, really.

I just have a tiny little bit of oil coming of the bleeder valves and the master cylinder. I recheck the whole system and cant figure out why .
I did press on the pedal pretty hard to check them.
anybody know what it could be ?
