Are polls anonymous?

If someone just picks from a poll, but doesn't post a message, can other people see how they voted? If they aren't anonymous, then a poll isn't going to be necessarily accurate.

Polls are anonymous if you set them up to be anonymous.

I believe you start a poll by starting a new thread and at the very bottom of that screen under additional options you have "start a poll with this thread" or something like that.

It can be either or both. It depends on the options in the software the site is running. This place uses vbulletin so it can be either or both.
