Yes, it's a great tool and time/knuckle saver...
The HMF exhaust leaves little or no clearance between the headers and the filter so the wrench is a real blessing...

Devious,
Do you have to loosen the #3 header pipe to get the filter out? I haven't changed the oil since I did the new exhaust. I will be doing it in the next week or two. Thanks in advance.

Don

Just be careful as they will crush the filter if you squeeze too hard. Fine for removing the old filter just use care when tightening the new one.

No. There is room to remove it and reinstall the new filter...
But not enough to use the Suzuki oil filter wrench (cup) type ...
So I use the pliers to loosen the old filter, and then put the new on just hand tight, so far I have not had any leaks...

I have one for my cage but haven't tried it on the bike ......I'm not sure if mine will adjust to that small of a filter .....will try it next time !

Craig,
I haven't forgotten about your seat, just haven't had a chance to get you the shipping quote.

On to the Fram filter. Do a search here and you will find and overwhelming majority of us will tell you not to use that filter. There is a lot of paper in the filter material. Wix is what I use, a lot of guys us the K&N as well.

Don

Frams are garbage.

Wix, Napa Golds, Amsoils, and I believe Bosch and Valvoline are good quality filters too.
