I was wondering how the night life is there for new years eve? I fell in love with the city my first visit. I have bee there 3 times in the last 2 months. Where are the hot spots to check out? I will be staying at the hotel vogue in downtown.

I don't remember much  (drunk) but when I was in college in NH I spent many New Years Eves in Montrebec.You'll have a blast go down to St.Dennis and to St.Catherine streets .All I can say is Bon NA NE, I have no Idea how to spell it but it means Happy New Year. Enjoy yourself and bundle up its going to be colder than a witches you know the rest.Make sure you take the subway.

Yep what Jetset said, but bundle up, Montreal is ridiculously cold, even worse then the prairies here.  Yeah, jetset, it's "bonne année".  Have a good one Big E and be sure to check out the Canadian strip joints, they take it ALL off
