Another on race leather

Check out Komodo Gear. They seem to be pretty good for the money.

My input is this - buy the best you can. If you go down, especially at speed, you will wish you had the best. My buddy went down at only 120 mph and the stretchy material on the back of the knee and the inside of the elbow tore loose from the leather. Yea, leather is strong but that stretchy stuff isn't. When it tore it allowed the leathers to rotate and he got some road rash where he originally had leather. Another thing to look at is the size of the foot and hand openings. His were large and they pushed up his forearm and he got road rash there too. After seeing his stuff not protect him as well as possible I bought a custom fit suit with double leather and padding in the knees and elbows and am happy with the suit. He spent more at the hospital on road rash than I did on leathers so it seems like a deal for me.

My favorite gloves are Lee Parks Design DeerSports.
