How does the tone change after being cut down? Just get louder, or have a different note to it, too? I'm thinking about doing it to my scorpion cans.

DB's rise moderately, sometimes you see slight power gains with re-tuning 2-3 HP (maybe) it does look much sharper.

Someone suggested using compressed gas to blow the dents out. I thought that was a good idea at first, but I think that much pressure would bow the cans out and maybe apart without effecting the dents.

I suggested pressurizing cans to pop dent out.
You don't need 3000 psi. They are thin metal. I bet 20 psi or so would pop the dents out before it did any damage. Just a little they should pop right out. hardest thing would be to seal them so your could get pressure in there.
