I should have figured you'd own one that puts mine to shame. Here's mine, thanks for the memories! Doyle
But it does make sense. The GS1100 was the Hayabusa of the 1980's. That's one reason I wanted one.

I like that pipe. And are those smooth bore carbs? They don't look stock either. Here is a pic of mine taken in the mid 80s.
Here's my son's 1985 GS550ESF, his first bike. Used to belong to oRg member MetallicMetalGod (as his first bike!).
Hey, that's cool. I hadn't noticed your avatar was you on my/your GS550. Cracks me up!BTW, you the GS is the bike I'm riding in my avatar pic.
Keep the good times rollin'!
My son Martin has ridden several hours on that GS1100e when we have traded bikes for grins. His 550 (Andre/MMG's old 550) handles much better than the 1100, but probably less than half the power. I don't know if Martin ever really opened up the 1100. It's no Busa, but it does make a decent amount of power for a bike from the early 1980's, even more with the Kerker pipe and pod air filters.Looking good Ajay!! Not to detract from the other bikes but when are you sticking your boy on the busa?
An old Kat, and in beautiful condition. Don't even know what to say.... Just jealous!Everyone needs a vintage GS in their garage!
Mine:
