Been using the Zuki 10-40 since I brought her home, getting ready to do my 27K change on my '06. I would suggest sticking with the Zuki 10-40 until the warranty goes away.

is it not ok to use oil other than zuk for warranty issues? i thought as long as it met their requirements you were fine. by the way is amsoil a certified oil?
