2001+ Speedometer fit 99-00?

Morning;

Does anyone know for sure if a 2001+ Hayabusa speedometer will fit properly on a 2000 Hayabusa?
- Are the plastic mounting pins on the back in the correct location?
- Are the mounting tabs on the front in the correct
location?
- Is the pin-out for the connector the same?

It'll fit on the fairing stay. Will it work when hooked up? I don't know the answer to that question. I have a 2003 Hayabusa and a buddy of mine gave me his 1999 gauge cluster so I could have the 220mph speedo and I have yet to put it on.

Yes, it will fit and operate as it should.

Likewise for onedown... - the '99 cluster will fit and your speedo will be correct (or as correct as a Busa speedo can be

That's what I figured, but just haven't had first hand experience in it yet.

Oh, my speedo is correct with the trusty speedo healer.

The police officers don't need to know that though.

They are interchangable . I have a 1999 cluster in my 2006 , it is plug in deal ,
