Well i got the gauges on the bike and the fuel gauge pegs out to the bottom with the low light on. When the gauge moves up to just empty the fi light comes on... i'm assuming this is because someone put the 02 fairings and tank on the bike which is a 99.
So tell me how do i fix this problem? can i hook up a sending unit for a 99/00 in the tank and get the fuel gauge to work?

I bought this bike from somone and didnt know anything about it. The plug for the gauges was cut off and thats why i'm just now seeing this.!.
