As stated earlier in another post this Windows Vista is out of contol!

I tried to copy/paste new updates but it didn't work so here it is.

07/09/08 50 megs. of updates. (Took over 35 minutes on restart twice.

)

So..today updates are available. Oookkk..let me look.

93.2 megs in updates plus five (5) additional!

My LORD what is with Vista?

I'm done bothering with WINDOWS UPDATES.  I only use thier OS, not the security hole filled browser.  Many will argue there are other benefts for network security etc, but I just run Zone Alarm Firewall, and use a more secure browser and don't open things I know i shouldn't.  Never has a problem.  Runs faster, saved tons of space and time waste... makes my home installs and rebuilds a breeze.

I agree...Vista blows but not because of Windows Updates. If you run a Linux distro you'll be updating like crazy too.There are plenty of other great reasons why it sux IMHO.

I had 13 updates with 99.1 MB; it took 12 minutes to download and install with one reboot. I run Vista Business SP-1 and a 15 Mbit line..

Well, those updates were installed.

Now, another ballon pops up. 50 megs of additional updates today.

This is out of control. Windows Pissed-ya strikes again.

My first mistake was not removing Vista when I pulled the system out of the box.

I'll bear with it a little longer but patience is wearing thin.

Just turn on automatic updates then go to another computer running XP and use it.
