McDonald's faces lawsuit over marketing to kids - Jun. 22, 2010

So where are the parents? McDonalds was around when I was a kid, they had toys... My parents just told me NO you cant have a happy meal or NO we aren't going to McDonalds... Why is it that the govt is now putting their noses right in the middle... How about we take all that money they are going to spend and put it on parenting classes.....

I agree that the govt has no biz in the middle .
I don't think it right some group can sue Mickey D's over marketing to kids ?
I don't see how they think it's marketing to kids ?
At almost four years old Adam does not pay attn to commercials or marketing campaigns nor do I .

We do go out once or twice a week and while I would rather go to a nice restaurant to eat he would rather go to Mickey D's cuz as he says they have 'fast cars for toys'

Both my kids don't get everything they want and if you ask Kathy she'll tell you I say NO alot more than I say yes
Doing my best to instill discipline and the right ways in both.

I don't see what's wrong with a kid being happy to get a toy in a happy meal ?
My only complaint is that the toys are made in China and not the USA .
Am I missing something here ?

A doctor was sued by his patient because he diagnosed her with morbid obesity.... The issue being that morbid obesity IS AN ACCURATE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS
