Remap Settings w/Yosh Box & Filters

I installed Race only RS3 slips ons. Stock filter through! Played alot with the Yosh box, BEST results were adjusting the idle circuit to about 10 o'clock position (richen up the idle/low rpm circuit).. I tried more and less this was the best stumble free setting... I tried +5 on the L/M/H...

    Yellow Box Installation

2 things.... On the busa (17/40) 1 tooth down on the front is damn near the same as 2 up in the rear. 17/40 - 2.35 final ratio 16/40 - 2.50 17/42 - 2.47 17/43 - 2.53 17/44 - 2.59 I agree going bigger in the rear is better, also shortens your wheelbase. Going smaller in the front you can...

stupid question: get it up in second, tekniques PLEASE!!!

Go with either a 16t front sprocket OR a 42r sprocket, same final drive ratio. 2nd gear around 6 grand, you can load the front end (rock it) and hit it hard she'll float up easy. Then ride her out... you can go through all the gears if you have the balls...

    Yosh Box Fantasys

The YOSH box is a tool, that can be used on any F.I. Suzuki. You make a minor adjustment to the ECU unplug it and drive away, the tool stays on the bench. Every Suzuki dealer should have one of these boxes and charge for each use. The box will change your low/mid & high rev range by 5%. The...

    Slow speed stumble

Sounds like you are in way over your head with the technical info... If you have race slips ons you need to richen up your idle circuit. I have the RS3 Race slip ons and had the exact same stumble. Using the Yosh box I adjusted the idle circuit setting to 10 o'clock (richer) and it is perfect...

    Adjusting the chain...

NN is right! Use method #3! I used to use a chain alignment tool..bah! Waste of time.. If you tighten the adjustment bolts equaly then spin the rear tire a few times...the rear sprocket teeth should be in the center of the rollers on the chain... You can easily figure out which side to...

    RALLY In VEGAS

DAMN! 1800miles from here to Vegas! I would love to go!... That's far, mind you it would be an awesome ride form central Canada.. Maybe I will fly down.. but that would defeat the purpose of supporting the "busa" image..... Will have to see I can get the time off work and have the balls to do...

    DON\'T CHANGE HAND GRIPS

Pete, OMEGA is right.. use a dremel and cut off that "ring" that holds on the throttle grip.... then glue on some new ones.. well worth the effort... I have changed them on previous suzuki's, just have to get off my azz and change the ones on the busa.. too thin!

    2000 Busa tensioner Failure

If all this tensioner nonsence is true on the '00's, would it show up right away? Or could it fail way down the road? I have 9000k's on mine and no noises yet... ????

    Wheelie Noise

If your chain tension is set properly then the only thing I can think of it the famous "5000rpm noise" that everyone and their dog has mentioned.. It comes and goes so quick.. Don't worry about it.. She is pretty powerful to bring up in first, maybe try bringing it up in second and right it...

    WOW... Nice color

Quincy, In Canada you can only get blue/silver and black/grey for 2000, in the USA you can only get red/grey (like the URL you listed) and blue/silver. Both black/grey and copper/grey were available in Canada and the USA in 99. However across the pond in Erope they only had Red/black and...
