Well.... this escalated quickly. One set of marketplace JE pistons quickly turned into a second block and cylinder head. Both block and head are on their way back from having machine work done. Once put together this will be a 1407 with 12.5:1 CR, megacycle cams and a very solid head setup...

As with everything in motorcycles, changes are very fluid. My plans of a 1441 in the future has been immediately turned into a 1407. Found a good deal on some new pistons and a used block, so that's what's happening very soon. The topend stuff will remain the same.

here's the latest. I picked up a block to either have as a core or send off to have it bored and plated, picked up some 83mm pistons. Still planning to go with the ported carpenter head, but, still back at cams. I have a line on some webb 425's but i'm concerned they might be too big being...

Motor is all stock. It’s a full drag bike, is not ridden on the street, track only. Full slider clutch, side winder exhaust, boostbysmith flashing software. It’ll b getting a ported head and eventually 1441.

thanks for the response. I'm considering the stage2 yosh cams, looks like all they need are different valve keepers and they should drop in.

I have a gen2 drag bike, stock motor, and looking to pick up a bit more. I've been reading about cam mods and swaps, just not sure what the best combination is? Dual intake, gen1 intake on gen2 exhaust side, leave it alone? I've also been looking at webb but most of their cams call for piston...
