I was told by the local bike mechanic that the original ECU can be custom mapped is this true? or am i stuck buying a power commander and then getting it custom mapped anyway?

I love the roads out that way, that is part of the reason I just bought property out there! There are some very nice roads between Gainesville and Ocala as well back by the horse farms. But hey any ride is a good one! Beats work anyday.
