While I never have road an old busa I do have an 08 busa and an 06 1k gixxer. I am plenty happy with the way it(the 08) handles and the way the suspension smooths out the bumpy roads. It feels great to me and I doubt you will be disappointed. Good luck, Bob.

Yea, I am in the same boat. I am not a wheelie hero but I like to "get it up" once in a while. I also have a 1k 06. My limited experience so far tells me you will not be disapointed

On my first oil change the old seal was bulging out after wrenching on the new filter. Thought I had ruined the new filter until I realized it was just the old seal. Rookie mistake but I am not the most clever motorcycle wrench

After over 1000 miles on my 08 I have topped out at about 110mph so top speed is not a big draw for me. Big torque with massive acceleration at any time was what I wanted and got First gear power wheelies have been plenty fun too...Busa is working for me for sure

Seems like a combo of skydiving and Isle of Mann. Take out some life insurance....

Just turned over 1000 miles on my orange 08. I just love all that torque....yummy! Can't wait to do some extra long rides next year
