Yeah I'm pretty sure it was just the difference in where the scales were just thought it was funny I had just finished watching that then u said what u did about cleaning and being faster  . Now you say there isn't much bike left but to me it seems pretty intact, of course it's missing a front caliper and has the mirrors and headlight gone but overall it still looks like a busa. It kind of killed my dreams when he said he was eventually gonna turbo that bike instead of keeping it na. Also a side not i belive that day 2 video of them in Detroit is the one with 650ib and there's a video floating around from a rider i know calling ib out for leaving a bag of trash at the spot they were using that's our local little strip, honestly found it kind of petty but it is wrong to come to someone else's backyard and leave it trashed. I wonder if @s3ns4i was out there with his beast teaching them a few things.

I wasn't invited to this one :(. I want some of 650ib bad as he talks so much trash. Send me a link to the video of the callout with him leaving trash.

Remind me to tell you about my "still learning my bike" story

I just tried to pull the video up and they pulled it off youtube, I knew i should have screen recorded it . It was honestly a little petty on the part of the guys who made the video because there was a big bag of trash and some bottles right there at the gate where everyone sits on that road so it wasn't exactly "trashed" as they put it and supposedly one of the local guys was supposed to clean up after. I would definitely like to see him get a taste of your bike because he does seem to like to talk trash.

2400 miles so far (not all today lol) Springfield MO to Provincetown MA at the tip of Cape Cod, and then up through beautiful New Hampshire to Bangor, Maine to see the old house and hometown of my favorite author, Stephen King. McLaughlins is an old hangout of his and they have really good Lobster rolls.
Albeit on the ST1300, it’s been a great trip.

That's quite a house!

I love those old houses, they have so much character over the new(er) ones...

Yeah me too. All the houses on the block are really cool and totally different from each other. King is hardly ever in the house; he lends it out as a writer’s retreat.

A former colleague of mine (retired a general) had a Victoria era house built as a replica to his home growing up which burnt down years ago...

For some reason he has a lot of pictures of the old house in it's glory days. It cost him a pile of money but the end result was stellar...he even went so far as to have all the wall plugs hidden.

He built a carriage house which matched the original along with power doors which swung open instead of the roll up doors...

Ahh, ya shoulda been there. :D Seeing that the weather around me for the next ten days or so will be in the high 90s or above 100, and Jonesin for a ride I looked elsewhere. Today was going to be the coolest in the low 90s even in Yosemite but still, so I checked the forecast for some Alpine lakes up high a lil south and east from me. Haven’t been up there since the snow was gone, mostly gone. I got in a 168 miles round trip up hiway 168 to Shaver Lake and Huntington Lake @ 7,500’ elevation. Temps were in the high 60s!!! Cool breeze off the Lake with a blue sky was a treat as I relaxed with a soda and a Snickers about 20’ from the water. The only real sound was the water lapping the shore and the wind thru the trees. It’s about 60 miles to the lil town and lake named Shaver Lake but to me, another 20 miles east farther up into the Sierras, Huntington Lake is the prettiest. Lots of picnic and camping areas and beautiful cabin/homes facing the lake. It’s nice being able to ride completely around Huntington lake but the road is pretty rough on the north side. There’s a power station and a lil community of less than 500 called Big Creek, way the hell up in the hills. Very secluded and a real surprise to see up there. Sadly the ‘Creek’ fire damage was all over the place. Lots of tree and logging work and the area, thousands of acres, really needs it. I’m guessing no one was in that cabin…. Oh, on my way down, still about 60+ miles from any motorcycle service, I stopped for a Harley bagger with his top case open. He said (he was guessing) that something electrical was wrong as the motor just died. He had Farmers/Foremost insurance and had been on the phone for a tow for a half hour. I was there for ten minutes and he was on hold with someone in Michigan I think. I told him about my towing service (for next time).:) All the way down I didn’t see any flatbeds heading up.

Even though the fires have been through, it's still an amazingly beautiful part of the world.. I live it through your pictures :)

Thanks a lot. Much appreciated. It was strange seeing the green forested areas, sometimes right across the road from the fire ravaged areas. This side of the country sure has a lot to see. And now I’m able to actually live in an area that I would normally take a bike ride through on the weekends or on vacation. They’re just down the road now. I just noticed that I didn’t take any pics of the Busa!

Hi. I gut out on the HD for a ride. I saw a bike on the side of the road for s stop and bought it. It was a 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 with3800 miles on it. He wanted $4,500.00 I paid $3,50.00 for it .
Hi. That is how I find all the cars and tricks I buy and sell. With only my SS and a part time job how do you think I put away 25 grand in 7 months I have to work a lot. I also save my change, cans $,05 each and do scraping metal, aluminum, copper and brass. My military pension I use to pay for all the other things food house taxes [ girl friend and boy do they cost a lot.]

Is there a big market out there for a 900 Vulcan? They are less than stellar bikes at the best of times...
