Yeah, it definitely SUCKS! :( But, gotta do what I gotta do right now. Thanks for the kind words y'all.

Lycan, thanks for the tip! I'll PM Goblin. :beerchug:

Are you giving up the Busa because its too beastly and you feel you must give it up like meat? Just kidding man.

Sad to see you have to sell it . Never a good day seeing a fellow member sell their bike.

AMEN to that! :(

PS: No relation to being vegan. Besides, the Hayabusa doesn't eat animal either...just Ninja's. ;)

Someone is about to get a darn good deal on your bike. Best of luck, man.
P.S. Possible buyer in Jacksonville, FLA: https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/gene.../153098-anyone-know-bike-jacksonville-fl.html

Yeah, I think it's a great deal for someone. Thanks for the tip...I posted up in that thread. :beerchug:

Haha! Indeed the hayabusa is in fact not a meat eater. Well I sure hope you stay around because I like almost all of your posts and perhaps you will buy a new busa in the future. :beerchug:

Sorry but the Busa is in fact a meat eater and lives on a diet of Ninjas :)

Melodic bummer you have to sell not one but two bikes.
Hope things turn around for you.

Can you post up some info on the Gs? Link in sig takes us to a forum I'm not member of and therefore can't see it.

Hey bud, don't know why your moving but it really sucks to have to give up your bike. Take it from someone who know's. Before I got my beast I had to sell my 1995 CBR 900RR for $4000 to fix my car (99 Ford Escort ZX2 POS I believe was the correct name of it) and then traded my car in for $400 for my Silverado. God that hurt! It had 297,000 on it though and a brand new transmission, a rebuilt engine (all stock, didn't waste the money) and I still only got $400. If there is ANY way to NOT sell your bike, then DON'T DO IT!! You'll regret it. If you are moving somewhere and will have the means to get a new one, sell, get the new one, but don't get rid of it if you have ANY way at ALL to get it where you are going. Just some friendly advice man. Good luck on your move and I'm sorry you're selling your bike. Just my :2cents:.

:beerchug: I love the bike, both mine and the model in general, so I plan to stick around and interject here and there. Good bunch here...with or without a bike. :)

Well, the move is to get closer to family...MD to Cali. Both bikes are tough, but the GS is a bit easier b/c since the Busa I've let the GS stay still for the most part. :) It needs a home that has more time for it. :)

Will do.

I feel ya 100%. I'm moving to CALIFORNIA and getting rid of the bikes?!??! :banghead: I must be crazy. ??? The trouble is that if I take these bikes to Cali, I may not be able to sell them there b/c of the 49 state/Cali spec thing.

With any luck I'll repurchase in Cali in the not to distant future. :please:

I dont think you have a real problem here. Check this link
Before Buying a Vehicle From Out of State - Be Sure You Can Register It in California FFVR 29
If I interpret this correctly, California only applies this to NEW vehicles, and, by definition, a "new vehicle" is less than 7,500 miles. If you a are moving to California with a vehicle you already own and have registered in another state, you can register it in California no problem even if it qualifies as a "new vehicle" but doesn't meet CA emission requirements. Selling it in CA would present a problem, but only if you sold it before you got the mileage over 7500 miles. Once over 7500 miles, you can sell it and the new owner can register it with no problem because it is no longer a "new vehicle.". So take you Busa to CA, ride it a few years, or better yet, just keep it!

BTW, I sent you a private email, or just call me.

That really does blow dude...I remember you getting your O/B a little while before I got mine. I understand your dilemma tho, but to echo the others...I'd try and keep it. Best of luck with the move.
