jumping out of 2nd gear

Not sure if there is a post on this but going from 1st to 2nd my bike tends to pop out of 2nd. I heard this is a common problem with busas. Happens 3 out of 10 time I would say when trying to shift it fast or power shift it also has done it with the co2 shifter. Is there a easy fix? Sounds like a shift fork to me.

Mine did that. It was a stripped gear. The dog on the gear had rounded off. I had it undercut at Orient Express. It's super tight now. Requires a rebuild though.

Good luck and be careful. Mine started to slip randomly for a quick blip. In a corner, that can get loose.

Probably a bent shift fork. Got tot come apart.

I'd hate to say it, It sound's like the trans. has to come out.

I have a spare busa trans for sale for $475.00 and you keep your old one. I have two of them out at the moment and I currently have someone interested in the other. I expect the shop to be done working 2nd gear in both within a weeks time. Let me know if interested.
