Choke/fuel enrichener switch

I am in the middle or re-doing my whole handlebar/triple tree with some very nice custom stuff.However,with custom comes problems!
I got a nice set of cyclecat clip ons,but now the enrichener cable is not long enough cause of the rise!
Has anyone ever rerouted it to get more slack,or even removed it and used some other means of enrichening the bike for cold starts?

have to look close it is on the left side it goes under the tank bolts from the left .
worked good here, no problems
