So Rickey G. admits they've torn into the motor to "check the bearings" and claims that production model "will probably run better". Give me a *#$&'n break!!!!!!

These guys build race motors and dragrace for a living and Rickey G. gets his bread buttered by Kawasaki along with free bikes to thrash. If anyone believes this garbage, let me tell you a story about a bone stock R1 running 8's.....of course, the motor has only been torn into to check clearances.....hahahahaha!

Since Yamaha has completely dropped the ball in the market segment, what I wanna see is a 2001 Suzuki GSX"R"1300, updated with an additional 10-20 hp and less weight! Suzuki, you listening?

i know it might look like i'm defending the gadson camp but i'm just giving you "facts"
that either i saw or was told from the horses mouth. i'm not adding any s-h-i-t to the story, those were public statements told to me. why would he want to make himself look stupid? it's about the bike, not rickey.
i think he knows if he knows if he runs some times with that bike that other people can't touch with there showroom 12's, it's just going to bring alot of people down on him. it will ruin his credibility.....

he did tell me that he had alot of trouble burning up the clutch and he had to use the parts out of a display bike because he couldn't cross reference the parts with anything else. and also had to add three stronger springs with the combo he had to use.

i know i wouldn't want to put up a number that was out of reach from reality. would you?

people need to look at this as a positive!
believe me, we'll all benifit from the zx-12 being fast....

tell me? if you were building & selling hayabusa's, would you let the kawasaki build something that was going to take the market away from you? hell no you wouldn't...

i'm telling ya it's very easy to run 9.20's on a stock displacement busa!!! and thats without nos or going inside the motor.

the bike are out there, you just don't know about them.

here is one for ya...1360 motor that turned 197rwhp with 40hp nos & 8 over swingarm went 8.60. i seen the busa & time slip at g-ville....

teamhayabusa: no that wasn't my bike. my bike is still in the r&d stage, i think?

i took my old bike and went out in the first round on a red light.( .494 reaction time)
almost a perfect light, but i beat myself. oh well, thats dragracing...

r-g's engine builder being there....
he must have came after you, tony & i looked at it? other wise, i'm sure he wouldn't have let rickey tool around on the bike with the efi light staying on...

you know? i just can't think, what that bike might have run if that efi light wasn't on?

and you know? from where i was sitting, and could hear...he was sliding that clutch quite a bit. i'm seeing 9.40's easy on that bike!
