craziest thing happend to me last night. getting ready to go home, and a co-worker shows up with this box. has a little rc car that you have to put together. we proceeded to put it together. showed me upgrades for it too. perplexed, I checked it out today. hardest to get toy on the market here right now. I was able to get my hands on one today, and bought an upgrade kit. on Ebay, one of these cars in the original box sells for upwards of $80. I payed $25 for this one locally. a hole-in-the-wall Radio Shack and the guy says ppl are coming from Portland to buy them(80miles).

Is it just me? Or is it the hot item this Xmas?

We have 2 of them they are cool they charge off of the remote in about 2-3 minutes and run for like 8 minutes they have a capasitor inside to recharge them and they are tiny like small as a AAA battery in length they are selling out everywhere but we found some.

The upgrade kits are kinda cool some of the cars are from the fast and the furious ........to bad not remote mini busa !!!!

its just a little remote car that charges in one minute on the controller.

you can change out engines, gear ratios, wheels, tires, spoilers, etc... just a little fun for a guy when its raining...
the fast and furious kit shown here has a 'turbo' engine, a 'nos' engine, 3 gear ratios, steering kits, wheels, tires, changeable rear air foils, changeable bodies....

stock engine is 16,000rpms, all the way up to the NOS engine with 23,500 rpms! heh...

again, I saw just the car in a box on ebay for 80 bucks... and I paid 25 locally.

I have a couple I got from RadioShack. They are pretty cool, but with mine you have to be close for the controller to work -- no more than ten feet away.

I have a friend who has a different type of tiny RC car. He says they are from Japan, are smaller than ZipZaps, and run much faster -- even on carpet. I wish I knew the name of these things or where to get them, but I can't remember what he said.
