Yoshi R-22 inserts?

Does anyone know how to remove the inserts from the Yoshimura R-22 cans? I did a search and found a topic talking about the inserts but nothing about removing them. Thanks in advance.

I used a slide hammer on mine, but even a pipe with two hooks and pound it out could work... I love the sound of mine now w/o the baffle in

They take a little effort but do come out after removing the screw. I had to actually push it inside the can a little to loosen is up and twist it while pulling it out, it will come just give it a little muscle.

Wierd, mine came without them installed.

Wow, it was easier than I thought. The hardest part was removing the screw from the right can which was a bit off center making it interesting with an allen wrench. After a few minutes, got the screw out and removed the inserts. The sound is awsome without the inserts.....kinda like a deap growl.
